My ignition switch started making a whirring noise when trying to start the engine so I looked into what the problem might be and realized that it was the ignition switch. . I ordered these and had the switch replaced within an hour. It's a fairly simple task, but if you don't know what you're doing I'd ask a professional to do it for you. There are a couple of airbag wires in the steering column that you don't want to damage. It only takes an hour at a reputable workshop to get the job done right.
