Review on 🎧 AKG Y45BT Black Wireless Bluetooth Headphone with NFC, On-Ear Design and By-Pass Cable, Black by Jamie Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good bass, clear mids, clear and crisp highs. Where's the compromise?

Headphones, need: privacy so I can listen to music or talk on my cell phone so my next-door neighbor can’t hear people’s voices. This is especially true during a card game when 6 to 10 people are seated at a table. The block sounds in my area. especially subways, cars and sirens. Many modern headphones I've read reviews about have done this both physically (with thick pads sealing the user's ear canals from outside noise) and electronically. a cable for the times when I don't mind being tethered. The top three devices that fit this bill are: /ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483854780&sr=8-1&keywords=bose+comfort+35) for $350 with great looks, until recently arguably the best noise canceling of its kind class and excellent comfort . Sennheiser PXC 550 (https:// www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-PXC-550-Wireless-Bluetooth/dp/B01E3XLNA0/ref=pd_sim_23_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01E3XLNA0&pd_rd_r=W7PDJ23B2Y7KKRAM1ZB8&pd_rd_w=cdzB6&pd_rd_wg=3PCup&psc=1&refRID=W7PDJ23B2Y7KKRAM1ZB8) $400 for A set from a company best known for its superb sound quality and is considered the best in its class. Quality, but beats Bose in comfort and noise cancellation up to: Sony 1000x B01KHZ4ZYY&pd_rd_r=8MEZSZBMAQA6FQ3Z8NZ9&pd_rd_w=i5bpQ&pd_rd_wg=BcDtd&psc=1&refRID=8MEZSZBMAQA6FQ3Z8NZ9) was also $400. It's close, but the consensus seems to be that Sony has much better noise cancellation and maybe even better comfort than Bose and even better sound than Sennheiser. All of these models have very good or best noise cancellation, according to a variety of reviews. AKGs rely solely on physical isolation and not digital noise reduction. So when you choose AKG, you are at the mercy of the environment. However, the AKG's sound is superior to both the Bose 35 and the Sony 1000x (most consider the Sony to have the best sound in its class). appropriate) in my opinion. And if I didn't mention it, less than half the price. For $150 they sound surprisingly great. Solid bass that doesn't overwhelm the mids, open highs that don't squeak, and an open soundstage large enough to present an accurate acoustic portrait of the musicians and their position. So compromise? No electronic noise cancellation. To reduce everyday noise (rather than eliminate it like most other options do), AKG earbuds rely entirely on thick ON-EAR cushions (not over-the-ear) and firm but comfortable pressure. I am happy. Is Better Noise Cancellation Worth the Extra Money? I don't think so, but given that digital noise cancellation keeps noise levels down and keeps eardrums intact, I would if AKG SOUND wasn't such a winner. do what you can from a young age to reduce the risk of hearing loss in middle age. ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1483856913&sr=1-1&keywords=grado+sr+60e) are generally better and I prefer their sound to all others. They feature an open design that offers the benefit of a much larger soundstage. Implemented correctly, which it is, the sound is totally immersive and easy to listen to. Also for your neighbors, which is a disadvantage. They are soundproof. Hence my decision to buy AKG Wireless Sealed Headphones for road trips. And added some bass!
