Great sound, one small design flaw

I work in my home office and use a pair of Logitech USB headphones to make VoIP calls and listen to music while I work. I travel a lot and my poor seven year old Logitech was completely broken. The good first: AKG's sound is amazing, and although they retailed for $150, I bought mine at Revain for $74. good: the on/off button is between the two benches when they are folded for storage, so the first time i used them properly they went out after about 20 minutes on an important phone call with…

Great! best in ear headphones

I got the black version for $105 and wow what a great deal. Build quality is rock solid, with a good amount of metal, especially at this price point. The hinges are metal, the headband is metal, and the outer ear pads are metal. The workmanship is excellent, all parts work perfectly. A very impressive first impression. Could it be better? Well yes yes it can! The sound is simply stunning, regardless of the price. If you did a blind test with other expensive Bluetooth headphones, it would be…

Cons
  • poorly thought out

Update: Can't believe they're getting cheaper. There are no brains in the $70 they currently list. Mine still work, I use them every day to isolate myself from co-workers. I usually use a pair of Grado SR-60s at home, which I love and find well balanced for my favorite music (indie, classical, 60's soul, some IDM). ). Due to the open-air design, they are not suitable for the office, so I use standard Apple headphones. At first they seemed too bass-heavy and a little dirty, but after a few days…

Great headphones especially if you have a thick beard!

This really is great value for money. Because of Revain's return policy, I was able to try out literally six different Bluetooth headphones. In terms of build quality, sound quality, and ease of pairing with a Bluetooth transmitter that's permanently connected to my TV, there's simply no other $100 or less pair that even comes close. I've tried them all and each failed in one of the three areas mentioned. I had a particular need for in-ear headphones. That's because ALL types of over-ear…

I was totally blown away by the sound of these headphones.

I was blown away by the sound of these headphones. I wouldn't say I'm a music lover, but I have a good ear. I am a hobby musician and music lover. I have several headphones and generally prefer Sennheiser. I have a pair of HD238, HD580, decent JBL headphones and for recording I use ATHM50x. I've been listening to a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones that cost about $100 more than these - I don't remember the model number. A buddy of mine had a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Bluetooth phones…

Terrific. Unbeatable for its price!

Where to start? These aren't really 'reference' headphones as it's quite obvious that they have their own specific colourway. And it really is a very nice box of colored pencils. Current ownership at time of review: 1 day total, 3 hours of listening time (tested across all major genres from the 1950s to the present. I will update this review over time by having samples of some of the best headphones in the world. My usual everyday headphones at home are amplified vintage Sennheiser HD650…

AKG ROCK Bluetooth Headphones! AKG vs. BEATS

AKG BlueTooth ROCK headphones! I got a pair of these through a promotional offer when I bought the new Samsung Galaxy 8 smartphone. It came with a VR headset and a 256GB memory card. Initially I was skeptical about the quality of listening to real music, considering it only as part of the virtual reality gaming system. However, having grown up with audiophile Sennheiser headphones and having enjoyed B&O cans for many years, I was blown away by the musical reproduction of these headphones. They…

Good bass, clear mids, clear and crisp highs. Where's the compromise?

Headphones, need: privacy so I can listen to music or talk on my cell phone so my next-door neighbor can’t hear people’s voices. This is especially true during a card game when 6 to 10 people are seated at a table. The block sounds in my area. especially subways, cars and sirens. Many modern headphones I've read reviews about have done this both physically (with thick pads sealing the user's ear canals from outside noise) and electronically. a cable for the times when I don't mind being…
