Update: Can't believe they're getting cheaper. There are no brains in the $70 they currently list. Mine still work, I use them every day to isolate myself from co-workers. I usually use a pair of Grado SR-60s at home, which I love and find well balanced for my favorite music (indie, classical, 60's soul, some IDM). ). Due to the open-air design, they are not suitable for the office, so I use standard Apple headphones. At first they seemed too bass-heavy and a little dirty, but after a few days I realized I was probably used to Apple's tin headphones and they pair very quickly with the iPhone 6 iOS10, all button gestures work well. Everyone has already mentioned that they sound good, so I'll mention that they're good at blocking out noise in my office (half the reason I bought them). They're a bit heavy, but I got used to them quickly. The battery still lasts after the first charge 3 days ago. The bag is made of neoprene. When used with the included cable, it sounds the same to my ears. I've tried a pair of $400 Bluetooth Beats and really don't think they can be worth the extra $280, especially since the music most people listen to is probably compressed anyway. My only downside is that they don't fold up very well as they can be folded, and when they're flat on the neck the speakers face up, which gets in the way when you remove them for a quick call. The power button is easy to press even when folded. These are minor complaints. Considering that the more established brands of BT headphones cost $70 to $100, at $119 they seem like a good improvement over the overly bass-heavy Skullcandy and a much cheaper option than the Beats.
