I bought a FixMeStick two years ago and it has worked as advertised, effectively removing viruses from multiple computers over the entire two year period. So, despite the surprising number of negative reviews, I bought it again. The first time I tried to run it, it got stuck on the second step of the 5 step process. It got stuck for over 8 hours. Tried it on a second computer, same result. No error messages, no suggestions to try. When this product works normally, it usually takes several hours as it scans every place where a virus could be hiding. Big. The downside is that it takes hours to figure out that thing isn't working. I didn't even try to call their service number. For $90 I don't expect and don't intend to spend hours on a product and then spend hours on the phone trying to get it to work. Something has happened to the product or its quality control since my first purchase. It's a shame, it's a great concept and it was used to create a great experience with the product. No longer. The first three letters of the product name should be replaced with a popular four-letter word.
