It's basically just a large zippered bag that only attaches to the car with straps attached to the top of the bag. If the bag is full before putting it on the car roof, it will be quite difficult to lift it onto the car roof. Padding on the roof is difficult as there are no straps on the bottom to hold it in place AND NO internal structural support to hold the sides of the bag. In short, it lies in the car like a misshapen, loose bag, making it difficult to fill properly. Then you have to try to zip around the bag, which is quite difficult for the parts of the bag that go on the front and back of the car. The only straps are attached to the top of the bag. They can only be attached to the car roof rails AFTER the bag is filled and zipped. The lack of internal support also means that its shape on the car's roof depends entirely on whether you've filled it completely and there are irregular shapes of things. This means it rarely looks like a sales photo illustration. This is not a bag for those who lack the physical strength or dexterity to push their limits. The price is attractive, but the difficulty will likely make you wish you paid a lot more for a more convenient medium.
