This is a phenomenal base layer mask! I want to emphasize again that this is the BASE LAYER mask. I have bought many packs for myself, my colleagues (we work on film sets) and for the medical teams who work with us. This is a thin single layer material that I would compare to a compression garment. from the thicker side of the neoprene/spandex, but not as thick as the wetsuit material. I was expecting the material to tear, wear out and lose elasticity fairly quickly, but it was just the opposite! I wash these items every day after work and they are the same as they were 2-3 months ago straight out of the box. * I bought them specifically to wear under medical masks (because they are very irritating to the skin).
