Review on Carhartt Relaxed Sherpa Lined Snap Front 2X Large Men's Clothing by Brock Chisholm

Carhartt joins everyone else in lowering the quality and hopes we don't notice.

was, depending on the color chosen (which again seems to come from different production countries). I have some of these shirts that I bought a little over a year ago, they are heavy and fit how I think they should be with just the right length for the hem - not too short, not too long - , but I keep getting frustrated. the fit of new shirts and their quality. I buy XL shirts and wear them to and from work all the time. I hate the fit of many of the new ones I've bought: the shirts are too long - much longer than the first ones I bought about a year ago - and it's annoying that I leave them unbuttoned. Who needs a shirt hanging out of jean pockets? Maybe you and I don't, and it's not so much the length as the fact that it's not the way it used to be. Much too long. My original shirts are exactly the right length and I expect subsequent purchases to be the same size and length (why would they be any different, but they are.) and the quality and "handmade" material the shirt is made from has changed and also varies depending on where that particular shirt was made (maybe Mexico, various locations in the Far East, Indonesia, etc.). I look to Carhartt for reliable quality and durable workwear. It's extremely disappointing that like all apparel makers seem to continue to reduce product quality and hope we don't notice, or maybe they know we're stuck because every other shirt maker is even worse. . I hate thin cotton t-shirts and besides Carhartt I don't know where else to turn to but if I could find something else I would buy this in a heartbeat. Note: This is specific to long sleeve shirts, but some short sleeve versions of this shirt that I also buy and wear are even worse in terms of oversized gangster style shirts and thin, cheap-feeling material. We notice a drop in quality and will no longer accept it. There has to be an alternative, and if I find it, I'm done with Carhart. I'm sorry but this is your fault.
