I am so surprised that I had the pleasure of appearing in these

Wow. I grew up with ballet and now I teach. Recently had a solo for a studio gig, decided to bet on her early to buy option B. They break compared to Capezio's Medium Shank, Freeds, Bloch's Medium, Supple Shank Gaynors, etc. Not comparable to Grishko / Russian Hard / Extra Hard Kernel. You look real. Nobody at the dress rehearsal knew it was $23 on Prime. Pre-sewn tapes do not sew well on the machine. I moved them completely, some could only be flipped and sewn in place. The outsole has a slightly cheap feel and is made of composite material rather than leather. Blends in with the crowd once butt gets natural scrapes during rehearsal. However, they had a flexible up/down roll that breaks and breaks. I would never recommend her to a top student. just not good quality. They won't last forever but are great for experienced dancers who don't do a lot of shoots/performances that require flip flops in new shoes. There are also canvas models for modern work, looser fabrics get dirty faster. BONUS: They come with two great toe pads. Synthetic soft pads are reminiscent of lambswool goggle pads with flat seams. Gel pads have ventilation holes. Pro tip: Cosmetic foam wedges are worth the money as the pads absorb sweat and stay in place.

Pros
  • . Padded with non-slip suede outsole, ensure a secure grip and prevent slips and falls.
Cons
  • Weight
