I've tried another one and it wouldn't cool down, but I wouldn't call it fully warm. My coffee maker doesn't make my coffee very hot initially, but with this warmer, my coffee can get hotter than it originally was. I don't normally have trouble with touch controls, but the one on this heating pad is persistent. It takes a few tries to turn it on/off. The temperature adjustment knob didn't bother me at all. But for HOT coffee I can struggle a bit to start/stop it. I would rate it a 5 if I didn't have trouble with the on/off button. By the way, I also use a silicone lid on the cup. It might help some people too, but it won't make it hotter than it originally was!
