Review on 3/4" Amber Motorcycle LED Turn Signals Light Rubber Grommet Miniature Type 2 Function High & Low, Pack Of 2 - TCTAuto by Eric Currie

Small but do the job

Converted an XUV to all LED lighting and used these for the front running lights and turn signals. These have a rubber grommet that snaps into a 3/4" hole. In concept, a dual filament 1157 type lamp system.Given the small size and limited number of LED diodes than can be stuffed in a 3/4" bulb, these are not the brightest. They work for a parking light and turn signal, but just barely. There is not a lot of difference in intensity between parking light and turn signal but because it's flashing it is still noticeable. These would NOT be a good choice for over the road applications. As clearance lamps, yes. Signal lamps, nope. I would not use these as motorcycle turn signals as I don't think they are bright enough to risk my life on. And cage drivers don't pay attention either.LED flasher or resistors required to keep your panel from going nuts thinking there is a burned out incandescent bulb and flashing rapidly. I used an LED flasher in this application.

Pros
  • Easy install ok my tube fenders for my tj
Cons
  • These turn signals may be too small and difficult to see, making them dangerous for the rider and fellow motorists on the road
