At first I thought the fitting of the hose would be a problem as I've used universal fittings before, but that's not the case. This pump is several times faster (6-7 times) than cheaper devices. It also works great - the metal fittings on the hose get heated, but the compressor housing doesn't (burned on the cylinder housing of a cheaper compressor). As a test (wanted to do a video review but camera failed) and had no motivation to do it again), I deflated my BF Goodrich All Terrain AT truck tire to 16# and then reinflated it. It took about 4 minutes to bring it back to 37#. In comparison, the cheap compressor I have takes about 25 minutes to go from 20# to 35#. So if you're serious about off-roading and blowing out your tires, this supercharger is the bomb. The compressor gauge showed 40# and my hand gauge showed 37# - less than 10% difference and I don't know which one isn't working - maybe both? The only criticism is the short power cord. In the attached picture the wire is barely long enough to cross the engine bay and fall to the ground when you inflate the tire farthest from the battery. The truck has a few inches of travel, so cars don't have that problem. Advantages: - fast - smooth - cool - two power options (12V socket and battery) - carrying case. Cons: - short power cord.
