Revain has a lot of cheap binoculars. They're cheap for a reason. It's not "cheap" but they are a great value for what you get. I have four binoculars. Two expensive well known brands that I bought a few years ago to go on safari in Africa. They were much more expensive than these. And while they're more compact, their optical quality isn't nearly as good as theirs. I lined them up side by side and tested them with near, medium and far objects (trees, birds, etc.) and this pair proved to be the winner - far better than the others. The lenses are clear and it's the bottom. You concentrate great. And even though they're bigger, they feel well balanced. They feel good in the hands. The lens caps are well designed and the overall movements (focusing, eyepiece adjustment, etc.) are silky smooth. They come with a simple but adequate case and also have a strap. I'll probably put them in a better suitcase when I take them on international trips. But for things like whale watching, bird watching, or other more 'local' things, the included bag is more than good. But then again, it's all about the quality of the optics, and it's incredibly good for the money. I highly recommend.
