I have replaced all the components of my air conditioning system according to the manufacturer's recommendation. Everything was professionally installed, the old system was cleaned as recommended. Right out of the box, this compressor was/is LOUD! Maybe it's just the nature of this supercharger, but the one on my Toyota pickup is so quiet it's almost inaudible. This one screams especially when you increase the revs. After a season it started to blow warm. I checked for leaks (not found) and put in freon. It lasted the 2014 season and it was still cold after many hours. FYI, I've had my '96 Toyota Truck since it's driven 53,000 miles and I've never had to touch the air conditioning and it still blows cold!
