Review on πŸš€ Creality Mainboard Carborundum 220X220X250Mm for Beginners: Unleashing Creative Potential by Richard Lamptey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Item arrived in DOA - Repaired and defective again

Update #2: Printer not working again. It worked flawlessly and I successfully printed 5 simple mockups. Now the screen is black and the system will not initialize. I contacted Creality and they told me they can't help me as I didn't buy directly from them. I have sent the seller a message. I believe they will pass through me. I still think it's a great printer and hope my problems get resolved. I really don't want to disassemble it, send it back and order a new one, assemble it and set it up. Update: I'm adding a star because the seller contacted me. I have never heard from the manufacturer who is to blame for my problems. The printer assembled fairly easily, but did not move along the Y axis. No response from seller or manufacturer. They didn't even reply that my question was accepted. I didn't have a chance to test the motor so I had to check the connections. The connections to the Y motors seemed fine. With some help from google I was able to get to the motherboard and found a loose pin on the connector that goes to the Y motor. I reconnected and now the auto home function is working properly. I'm deducting a star because I didn't have to check the only factory pre-wired connections. Bad quality control. A second star deducted for lack of response from customer support. I will update when I have a chance to fully test the device.
