I didn't even have to read the instructions although I did look at the final version. It is so intuitive to use that it took about 5 minutes to put together. The main body of the chair is already installed, with the metal upholstery of the backrest already in place. You attach the table supports by attaching a tube to each side, pressing a small metal button and letting it slide and snap into place. Each arm can be rotated vertically to fit on a desk or slid sideways to flatten and slip back into a carry case and then tucked away in a car, closet, etc. It's so easy to use and carry, it's pretty light weight, nice design with thick fabric and nice design. The table mounted parts are easier to use than the regular bolt tensioners which I don't use. thats much better
