Handy Dandy Utility Appliance

When I opened it, I felt the device felt a little light. But light is definitely not synonymous with cheap. The light is good when holding the blender. The shredding head is made of hygienically perfect stainless steel. The chopper bowl is almost the perfect size for making a serving or two like chicken salad, mashed potatoes, ham salad or, like me, carrot salad! I wasn't sure how he would handle the carrots, but he handled them very easily. So I tried almonds. Pretty tough nuts, but there was no problem with almond flour (and bonus, the bowl didn't get scratched)! I don't think it will be as good as almond flour if you don't work with it for a long time, but flour is great for things like cookies and pie crusts. I then added some ginger flakes to the bowl and now I have the perfect pie crust crumble. I don't think it would be good to use it under heavy loads for a long time (like making peanut butter). The instructions say to use it for short jobs <1 or 2 minutes, with a short break in between. Everything I did just pulsed except for the whipped cream. For the price, it's a fun and fairly compact kitchen gadget that feels like a pretty useful workhorse despite the looks and feel. I like it! The device is very intuitive and I never read the instructions until I broke the whisk attachment. The attachment was solid. You have to press it well to lock it. I definitely didn't feel like it was going to come out. It doesn't really feel like it's going very fast, but it made whipped cream in under 30 seconds and I didn't use the turbo for the first 15. The last three photos show Pecan Chart Parmesan EVOO Pesto and Batch with Pine Nuts and Walnuts. Easy as pie ๐Ÿ‘The funniest feature is the cruise control. There is simply no easier way. You just compress to make it work, and the more you compress the faster it works. If I had to think of one thing that needs improvement, or what I miss, is that "block" isn't very strong. It's like "a bit locked" in place. Unlike big blocks where it won't work unless it's really tight. The "locks" on it are not security features and the unit will work even if this whisk is not secured or the chopper lid is not latched. Therefore, a person can unintentionally make a mess or possibly get injured if they are not careful. If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd like to add more security features to it.
