I needed scratch protection for my newly modified pastel pink switch without losing its docking ability. This case is not only cute but does exactly what I need it to do. However, the display casing is flimsy, which is par for the course given that this product is being marketed as dock compatible. The thinness of the screen casing doesn't make it remotely resistant to drops either. The joycon body is different from the screen body. screen housing made of fragile plastic; The body of the Joy-Con is made from a nice, smooth silicone that stretches a bit and doesn't pick up particles like you'd expect from other rubbery cases. I find the softness of the silicone prettier than the actual texture of the Joy-Cons themselves. Aesthetically, the glitter covering my pink accents is very cute! I would like to add photos, but I'm at the computer and I'm too lazy. TL; DR: If you're shopping for fall protection, look elsewhere. If you just need a scratch guard, this is more than enough! The glitter is pretty and the Joy-Con covers feel very comfortable.
