High quality but very thin

I'm not a skin specialist. I had hoped for thick, indestructible material, like a horse saddle or heavy work harness. What I received was very thin but very good quality leather that can be made into something that needs to be very thin and flexible. Great colour, great feel (when I wear it on my skin) but I don't think it was meant for rough and rough use. I want to see the Thickness indicator in the list. My estimate of the thickness of the material I received is between 1/16 inch and 3/32 inch.

Please be reminded that due lighting effects, monitor's brightness/contrast settings etc, there could be some slight differences in the color tone of the pictures and the actual item.
