Review on Microplane Stainless Original Zesting Grating by Rashad Ross

I recently ordered a 40001 Zester Microplan because I keep having more and more recipes that use lemon, lime or orange zest. In fact, I've used it four times since getting the Cester last week. It had a really good first use when I grated a whole large piece of ginger on it. I've never grated ginger so quickly and effortlessly. I've used it to cut orange, lemon, and lime peels with ease. The chopper is made from high quality stainless steel and comes with a convenient and very durable ribbed plastic sleeve that you can easily slide back into after use. The grater itself is quite sharp. It is very easy to clean with water and some soap. I've been putting off buying one for a long time and I'm so glad I finally settled on one. The price is really good. I'm sure a more expensive model with a handle would be nice, but I find it unnecessary. It was comfortable to use even when grating a large piece of ginger.
