Definitely friendly!
I'm 5'4", weigh 178 pounds and most of my weight is on my hips, thighs and butt. I usually wear a size 8 on the bottom and medium on the top. I just LOVE these shorts! They fit very well and are comfortable. I haven't worn them to workouts, but they're great for running errands and lounging around the house (even sleeping). I had to put them on the back a few times to keep my cheeks out but overall I plan on buying more!
