This is a silicone lid for the 8 qt. Instant Pot. It was floppier than I thought it would be. I thought it would have a bit more rigidity even though it is silicone. It fit on the pot somewhat loosely.more like set on the pot. It did not snap down or hug the pot securely. I thought, oh--it is better than using plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or a dinner plate so I guess I will keep it, but I wish it were firmer and snugged the pot more securely, especially if I wanted to transport food for some occasion. BUT THEN, after using it in the refrigerator, the fit became snugger and the silicone became firmer. So, I guess the temperature affects the product. After I used it in the refrigerator for a few days and then washed it, it remained firmer so I am quite satisfied with the product now and would recommend it.
