I was so tired of the splatter all over my counters when I had to use the Saute function on my instant pot for browning up food. A "splatter guard" (wire mesh generic cover) slowed the splatter, but there was still food juice every where. I decided to chance this little cover, and dang it works good. I had no idea I needed this to use my instant pot as a slow cooker. I just stumbled across this and it's been a blessing since.

when using my Insta pot as a slow cooker, I can monitor and see what is going on with it through the hours cooking with the great fitting glass lid that goes with it.

This met my expectations! I wanted an "original" InstantPot lid. I wanted to be able to "see" when I was just doing some searing.maybe using the slow cooker function. THIS LID MET THOSE POINTS!

This is a very good quality glass lid for my Instant Pot Duo Mini (3 Qt/12 cup) pressure cooker.One nice plus is I have found it fits perfectly one of my large stove top pans, and I find I am using this glass lid for it almost always, rather than the original stainless steel. Because I can look through the lid and see what is happening with the cooking! Anyway, happy with the purchase.

This lid is perfect for refrigeration; it won’t work well while contents is hot. If you try, the seal may break, which results in it falling in a lot of the time. If the pot and contents are cold, it’s perfect.

I purchased 2 Instant Pots locally on sale. Buying 2 gave me 2 of everything and most importantly an extra stainless pot for dishwasher rotation. I only cook 2 to 3 times a week. This cover is a must have to use your Instant Pot as a slow cooker. It can also be used with other pots/pans. The lid may cause condensation to develop on the surface and drip back into the dish.

I knocked off a couple of points because I feel it was a little overpriced. But other than that, it is a welcome addition to my Instant Pot cooking.

I have a small 3-quart Instant Pot This lid is much easier to handle than the regular lid when you make yogurt or a soup or stew and don't need the pressure lid. I found an easy way to make yogurt and always use this lid when I make it. It's nice to be able to see what you are cooking thru the glass, too.

This is a silicone lid for the 8 qt. Instant Pot. It was floppier than I thought it would be. I thought it would have a bit more rigidity even though it is silicone. It fit on the pot somewhat loosely.more like set on the pot. It did not snap down or hug the pot securely. I thought, oh--it is better than using plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or a dinner plate so I guess I will keep it, but I wish it were firmer and snugged the pot more securely, especially if I wanted to transport food for some…

I was so happy you could purchase lids for instant pots separately! Of course when you purchase an instant it doesn’t come with a lid, but I was happy to order one from ebay for my 3 quart instant pot, and it fit perfectly ! Thank you again !
