Pro: This mat does what it's supposed to. Protects the work surface from things like wood glue (PVA glue) getting on the work surface. The price was right. Cons: Thin. That's very thin. When I removed the rest of the tape, a little sticky mass remained on the mat and the mat started to bubble. (See image) This doesn't change how it stops the glue, but that's a problem for me now as it's no longer flat, which is necessary when gluing boards where flatness is of paramount importance. There's no reason why a mat designed to protect your work surface from spills should "bub" if a little goo is left on it. If it was acetone or some other corrosive material I would understand. Dissatisfied with my purchase.
