Slim, light, easy to connect / Cons: bends easily, no hotkeys

I'm torn about keeping this keyboard. Maybe send it back, maybe not. It's tiny, fitting in my tablet case (with the case/cover on the tablet) so it fits very well in tight spaces. Pros: It's small, but still slightly larger than my tablet. Still short enough to fit nicely in my tablet case. It switches between devices almost instantly. Easy to pair, easy to switch. Great for casual use for your Roku or phone, or maybe for on the go. This is a VERY lightweight keyboard. Simply charge, plug in as soon as it arrives and be ready to use in about an hour. Can't speak on durability as I've switched between this and my regular keyboard (which requires batteries and has no backlight - two reasons I bought this particular keyboard - but it allows me to "copy/paste" and doesn't escape when I type) Cons: - The keyboard is EBEN. For example VERY flat. If you like it, great, but I like my keyboard to be slightly angled so the keys furthest from me are raised. Maybe that's a problem of the past since typewriters, but it helps me a lot. Typing with your index finger can be ideal. My desk is a little high for me so my hands should be over the edge of the desk otherwise. The edge digs into my wrists. I press a moderately thin (thinner than a pencil, slightly thicker than a USB cable) and lift the keys away from me. The keyboard started flexing in the middle (horizontally) while I was typing something else in there (of the same thickness), softer, and it still flexed with each keypress. So thin but flexible even by simply pressing the keys in the normal position while typing. I'm not sure if this is an iMac issue, but so far when writing or copying/pasting things from one area to another I can't "copy" or "paste" or use any of my usual shortcuts . If anyone can correct me on this, if there is a toggle somewhere that indicates I will use a shortcut, please let me know how. The backlight is actually not very bright. To see this I have to turn off ALL the lights in the room. The backlight only comes on for 15 seconds and as far as I know this cannot be changed. When you watch YouTube or pause to read an email, the lights go out before you can access it again. My emails end up with a lot of different space symbols because the keyboard backlight is fading and I'm fumbling around looking for a space (as opposed to "typing" or something that might change my work) to see it again . The two little "hands" that help your fingers guide your hands to the correct positions (usually F and J) are difficult to tell apart. They are close to the edge of the keys and not very raised. They are shorter than braille dots and too close to the edge to tell if it is an edge or not without looking down. The back button has an additional back button that actually deletes everything to the RIGHT of what you have, rather than the normal version that deletes everything to the left of it, if that makes sense. I keep hitting that "Delete Previous" version instead of the "Delete Previous" version I'm used to. I've never used this feature on any of my keyboards, but I've also never accidentally reached for the delete key or pressed "delete before". The keyboard comes with these little "feet" to keep it in place. , and without them it's VERY slippery, but until I decide to leave it or not I won't be adding legs just yet. The keyboard was pulled "left" a few times, had to be pulled back or placed underneath with an oven mitt or thin silicone. - If you grab the edges of the keyboard in each hand (like a tablet) and twist one hand at a slight angle (and I mean VERY slightly), the entire keyboard is twisted. It's not an "during use" issue, more of a "you traded strength and durability for light and thin" while other mini keyboards I've used and loved had BOTH features. I'd worry about it tearing if dropped, and "feather light" doesn't necessarily end up as such. I've never had one that folds over while typing.
