I had my doubts after looking at this item online. but this phone holder turns out to be awesome! I bought a 2nd generation IPOW silicone phone holder for my Subaru Outback (2015 generation). It sits well on my rubberized dashboard. It's made of fairly grippy, soft rubber that follows the contour of the dashboard and stays in place. It has a fairly large footprint so it keeps a good grip without the use of glue. While I haven't ridden it off-road or anything like that, I can definitely say that I haven't had any issues with the iPOW slipping anywhere on the freeway, around town, or on mountain roads. My phone always stayed in place, right where I put it, with no issues. (While I'm not a daredevil, I'm not a shy driver either, FWIW.) We're using this with an iPhone 5 with the Apple case and an iPhone 6 with the typical medium-thick clear case. It works very well with both phones. It comes with an extra set of brackets suitable for thicker cases. We didn't have any issues with unintentional button presses or anything like that. The mounts that your phone sits on are fully adjustable from side to side. The viewing angle is less adjustable (there's a small rubber nub that helps with this, which it does effectively, although it does drop off slightly and is annoying), but I'm fine with the phone at the standard angle. buy it again!
