I use it to replace the electrostatic cells in a Honeywell air filter and it fits perfectly: nice and comfortable

Let me answer the sizing question first. This filter is 4.4 inches thick. I use it to replace electrostatic elements in a Honeywell air filter and it fits perfectly: nice and comfortable. My oven doesn't "fight" with air being pulled through it - I think it would be a good alternative to electronics.
