Only if you like black nail edges.
Not sure if this product is good for silver locks but definitely very useful for nails - this black (actually VERY dark purple) shampoo effectively stains the edges black. It took me two or three days of using more than regular shampoo to get rid of the black edges on my nails. So either wear rubber gloves when shampooing or live with black-lined nails.
