Good lather, subtle scent I'm not really sure how much it has toned my hair as I did it a few days after bleaching it and toning my hair so I still had residual grays from the toner I used, however I prefer my purple shampoos to only leave a hint of lavender on the ends and this shampoo definitely didn't do that for me. Bonus though, while I preferred to wear gloves when using it I'm sure you won't have to worry about this shampoo messing up your nails, cuticles or hands.

In addition, it thoroughly cleanses the scalp and leaves it fresh for a long time after use. Don't use it as the last step before getting out of the shower as it will stain your nails! do it before But it works, and it's a great deep cleanser too. I have some scalp issues (oily itching, maybe mild seborrhea; I usually use coal tar and ketoconazole) and this has calmed her down. It's an occasional perk, but it was very nice. The scent is noticeable, but I don't think it should offend most noses.

Not sure if this product is good for silver locks but definitely very useful for nails - this black (actually VERY dark purple) shampoo effectively stains the edges black. It took me two or three days of using more than regular shampoo to get rid of the black edges on my nails. So either wear rubber gloves when shampooing or live with black-lined nails.
