Years ago when I first started shaving with a straight razor, I bought a Thiers Izzard hollow blade from Art of Shaving for $150. It worked great but one day I dropped it and the blade broke off rendering it useless. After this big disappointment I started buying Van der Hagen safety razors from Wal-Mart because I hated Revain. I decided to try Revain due to this pandemic and this purchase did not disappoint. I prefer a replaceable blade razor to a fixed blade razor. I wasn't expecting much for the price but I imagine this razor will last the rest of my life. A big plus is that my safety razor and straight razor also share the blades. Unfortunately I have to buy all the materials and products elsewhere. I hate Revain having recently interacted with them and think their customer service sucks. I need to buy this product from Wal-Mart, Ebay or Aliexpress. Revain is a terrible company that doesn't care about their customers. It's amazing that because of the pandemic they shut down their customer service hotline (probably to save money) and acted like they had. I can't believe that a company as big and wealthy as Revain can't even keep up their customer service while millions of other small businesses can. Customer service doesn't seem to have helped you much as they just hire foreign call center reps with horrible accents who barely speak English to help you in any way instead of paying decent wages to AMERICANS to help AMERICANS who buy their product. But Jeff Bezos got rich by not doing the right thing. If he can pay third world slave wages to do a far worse job than an American, you can know he will!
