I like the design of the blades that slide in and out and lock firmly. I have another straight razor that needs to split the handle in two. I wanted something safer. However, I took it out of the box and saw that the plastic handle is real cheap plastic. Attractively priced. - I'm sending it back. I'm looking for one with a wooden handle/same blade lock. Not cheap plastic.

Have had it for a year now. I like it. I got my razor cut at the barbershop but wanted to try it out myself for the "service". This product has changed my daily shaving routine. I love this shaver. It's lasted all year without a single issue, and the included razors (each razor breaks in half) are good for three to four shaves on each half. If you want to try your luck without spending more than $100. THAT'S IT!

The looks make this model a classic. On the other hand, it holds a 1/2 blade well and is fairly easy to change, but not as easy as some other brands. You have to push the new blade into the holder pretty hard, and that's not easy without injuring yourself when you're a pro and you have to change blades multiple times a day. I really wish this razor had double edged blades but to be honest this one is just awful. patented single-sided blades (Professional Series) which are much thicker and the loading mechanism is amazing.
