I've used Milwaukee, DeWalt and Makita brushless drills. This drill is just a step down in build quality. The plastic doesn't feel that hard, the cartridge and the trigger aren't that smooth. Nothing that interferes with the work, just what you can "feel". However, this drill offers the same good features as well-known brands for 50% of the price. I hung 3 shelves included in studs and drywall no problem. Both batteries worked great and were fully charged. I've added a $10/4 year protection plan just in case. Even if you're worried about it breaking, I've always had great service with Amazon guarantees.
