Review on 🔧 Cardone Select 84-1633 Distributor with Electronic Module: A Reliable & Advanced 1 Pack Solution by Robert Wells

The sensor coil on my distributor has failed and after evaluating the cost of each individual component (coil, ICM, cap, rotor) a complete purchase of a distributor with all new components ready to use costs the same. No, not a pipe dream! My application is an earlier 2.8 V6 but this later distributor is fully interchangeable but built slightly differently and supposedly more robust. This is an added bonus. I've read that the ICMs that Cardone supplies for these devices aren't great and are prone to crashing, so keep that in mind. It's an easy parking lot fix with a Phillips screwdriver, so I'm not too concerned about that. *However* the warranty for this device covers the entire device, so if the ICM fails, Cardone will replace the entire dispenser. Replacing the ICM will void the warranty. Keep this in mind. Considering the price, I would definitely be strongly tempted to just buy another one next time I build!
