I thought it was a smart design because it slides right under your handlebars. That being said, at least in my car I have to make sure the steering wheel is turned all the way to the side as there is bluetooth in the top half of my steering wheel which prevents the tablet from sliding properly. functional if you're careful not to accidentally bump it with your knee, or the whole thing will likely fly as nothing's really holding anything.
