These are one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever owned; the rest are also Rockport. They felt very comfortable right from the start and didn't have to be "broken". My job requires me to be on my feet eight hours a day and I was very concerned that I might run into problems the first few days I wear them; However, I was surprised that they didn't cause any problems from day one. The EE width fits me very well as I need the extra width so my legs don't get tied together. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who needs to be on their feet for a long time.
