I ordered a 6/12 for my 5month old & it fit perfectly. I also ordered the 18/24 month for my 21month old & it was short. The rompers were for pictures and they still looked adorable regardless. They both stayed in the rompers the remainder of the day since they were so soft. Changing diapers was pretty easy since there was a lot of stretch.
