Tested, works on Windows 10 2004 and Linux 5.7.0 kernel with built-in drivers. The sound sounds good. The microphone works normally at the appropriate volume. This device has a strange behavior: it changes its USB ID when you plug something into the port. When nothing is plugged into the TRRS connector, its USB ID is 0bda:48f0, but if you then plug something in, it resets and reappears as 0bda:49b5. This identity morphing behavior is an issue when you want to redirect a USB device to a virtual machine or otherwise prevent the device from going crazy every time it is connected or disconnected. Aside from the weird USB behavior, that's good for a budget device. .
