The top fits like a glove. Since my Dell 5570 doesn't have a CD/DVD drive (as others have said), the bottom is a little loose. I basically solved the problem by putting some 3M Command tape between the inner bottom of the case and the PC, which (for now) holds things in place (while not covering too many vents). ).While the case looks nice and protects your PC from scuffs and scratches, it doesn't feel thick enough to provide drop protection. I would have preferred something thicker (like an OtterBox phone case) that would offer more protection if the computer fell a few feet out of the backpack. Unfortunately, there's no other option than spending over $2,500 on a Panasonic ToughBook military/police PC.
