Not the best; some plastic and relatively thin metal, but they work well. I chose this because I needed the adapter as short as possible to adapt it to the fixture I had that wasn't producing enough light. It should be fine unless you have to change bulbs often, in which case the thin metal in the sockets can warp and the bulbs can wobble.
