Review on πŸ–₯️ NavePoint 9U Wall Mount Server Cabinet Network Enclosure with Locks and Fan - Consumer Series by Hesham Peltier

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The end user pays for the terrible manufacturing and quality control (not)

1) Instructions are similar to the 10th generation but reduced by half of the original size. That is, barely readable. 1a) A running BOM rather than a manual 2) The pack of tapered end screws (the "self-tapping screws" in the BOM) was a pack of regular screws instead. This is important because: 3) The screw holes didn't even come close to matching. Try zooming out by 1/2. I had to go to a home storage facility and get real sheet metal screws. 4) The vertical U-rails were too short and didn't even reach the mounting holes going front to back. They only fit in the front openings of the case. This means you cannot slide the guides forward or back to accommodate connectors or patch cords. 5) Lots of bent metal parts make assembly difficult. If I didn't need something on the wall to mount my patch panel this would go back.

Pros
  • 110 lb. Carrying capacity
Cons
  • Some small things
