Review on CaddyDaddy CDYCON2NP Constrictor Protector Travel by Juan Moncrief

Does what it's supposed to and looks good doing it!

I was looking for a holdall to protect my golf clubs on a flight from San Francisco, California. to Bangkok, Thailand and then to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have read some of the reviews on this bag purchased here and while most were positive there were a few negative. I took it all in disbelief, crossed myself and hit the go button to make a purchase. The bag arrived within a few days of my order and upon inspection everything looked fine so I did. I didn't notice any problems with the line of the fabric. Everything seems to have been sewn well and straight. The zippers feel solid and don't snag after I run them up and down a few times. I saw that the main zip is lockable, as well as the two zips for the two outer pockets. There is an internal strap to additionally secure your golf bag in your holdall to minimize movement and I can only assume it reduces friction when both bags rub against each other. I think it might reduce the chances of the bag tearing as a result. The inner strap is slightly narrow and elastic. This bag also comes with a pole to protect your clubs from damage. The stick fits in a golf bag and is adjustable to the length of the clubs for additional protection of the clubheads from damage. Along with my bag came three colored hard plastic luggage tags. I'm not sure if there should have been three or not, but I'm not complaining. There is no external shoulder strap for carrying the bag but the bag has an approximately medium length handle that goes over the main zip and another handle at the top of the bag as well as a set of wheels at the bottom of the bag which allows for easy movement of the bag. The wheels keep the bag high enough off the ground to prevent the bottom of the bag from chafing when the bag is moved. My MacGregor golf stand/hybrid golf bag fits comfortably in this holdall. It makes it easier for two people to load a golf bag into a travel bag, but with a little practice you should be able to do it yourself without any major problems. Once the golf bag is in your holdall you will find that it fits snugly against your body and you may not need to use the internal strap but since it is there why not? So far the bag is doing what it's supposed to. make. It protected my golf clubs and golf bag. I know some baggage agents don't care what happens to the contents of your luggage which is why I bought this bag in the first place. This bag not only protects the contents, it also looks just as good as unpacked. During the further inspection after the trip, I could not find any visible damage to the travel bag. In short I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others if you want to protect your clubs.
