I love these bags! My mom is visually impaired so slider bags are a must have in our home. The usual "push sides together" packages just don't work for us because it can't tell if they're closed or not. They are so easy to close. Slide it all the way down and you know you're done! After you "burp" the excess air out of them, they'll do a great job with a freezer burn. But I didn't have any problems with that. I have stored frozen foods in them for 6 months and they are still as I put them down yesterday. way through, THEN freeze. Putting it hot in the freezer won't get the results you want. You can get crystals and a bit of freezer burn. The extra time is worth it!**
