Third party review. I withdraw my second review. Seems my problem may have been an exploited bug. The device returned to the car and I had no repeat of the fact that they couldn't remove it. When entering the code, you need to make sure that the numbers not only match the dog, but also lock it. But as a further deterrent, I bought this device. Boy he's strong! It's really hard! And don't worry about the combination lock numbers being too small to see! These numbers are big and easy to see! Setting up the combination is pretty easy. My job was to put this thing on the steering wheel for the first time. But when it was done, it was pretty easy the second time around. I was a little scared when I tried to unlock the device for the first time. I rotated the numbers in my code and this thing wouldn't unlock! Well, of course it was user error. I had the right number, I just didn't have the right number in the right place. There is a dot on the body of the device. When unlocking this thing, make sure the numbers you enter match this dot and it will open instantly. So far I'm happy with my purchase. And a new car and this device. I hope I never go out again and see an empty parking lot when it's not supposed to be empty (a car in a store or something).
