I have tried a number of knee braces from light weight compression sleeves to mechanical braces for my painful knees. Many have done an admirable job but they all seemed to just come up a little short of what I really need. The biggest fault has been comfort and itching when removed. The light weight compression sleeve types also tended to slip down during the day. These are a great mix of the compression sleeve as well as the brace. They are just a sleeve made of a very stout material with a rubber/silicone ring at the top and bottom that really keeps these in place. Also, I no longer suffer from that itching when I remove them. Because they are real comfortable I can leave them on all day and just forget that they are there. Walking now is so much easier and less painful.They include 2 sleeves that look as if they will last for a very long time and will provide just the right amout of support.
