My wife hates LEDs, even with a 2700 temperature range, so she insists on incandescent bulbs - our only solution was this fitting - we have a big one a barn with the name of our farm on a sign lit by a classic old lamp but we have to go to the barn to turn it on and off. We're in upstate Vermont on a dirt road where we have power outages fairly often (we have a full backup generator) so I was concerned that the Wi-Fi connection would be lost if the power went out. Wi-Fi connects with no problems after power outages and so far low temperatures haven't been a problem (only -5F so far - sometimes it gets to -35F, but it hasn't been that cold in at least 10 years). Love it so far - we have a scheduler that turns on at 5:30am and off at 10:30am. I don't know what to do with the second socket. I also connected it to Alexa (again very easily) but my wife refuses to use Alexa - with the scheduler we bypass the problem. I loved it until it stopped working after about a month. I can see that the device activates when I turn it on (LED indicator), but the switch to the lightbulb doesn't work. I changed 5 stars to 2 and suspect this crash is unusual - I'll try to find my second block and see if I have better luck.
