The cable I received looks sturdy. I wanted a cable that I could use to lie comfortably in bed or on the couch and make calls. Unfortunately, the cable has an issue that most cables experience after prolonged use, where it keeps switching between charging and turning off unless you tilt it at a certain angle. The cable still charges the phone when I hold it at that perfect angle. on a desk or table but the moment I move the phone it starts to alternate between charging and turning off. What's even more frustrating is waking up the next morning with a half-charged phone because it gets stuck in the middle of the night. It takes significantly longer to charge than my old 3ft Powerline+ model. In comparison, I was able to get almost twice as much charge in 20 minutes with Powerline+ as with this cable. As the name suggests, I've never had a problem with an Anker cable. You are my way to the manufacturer. This cable was just an exception.
