I have used these gloves for engine repairs and many other auto jobs that you may need. Whether you're a techie or DIY you only need a pair of gloves to make repairs, they're great for everything I've used in every application I can think of. Go to just about any store/dealer and the guys will probably use these. The only issue I have with these gloves is the plus and minus feel of a second layer of skin no matter what type of gloves you have unless you buy super thick latex gloves they will rip this love I ripped before and I have Raven Challenger black nitrile gloves - it doesn't matter it's just something that's going to happen anyway, but these have saved my hands from a lot of scratches and cuts just by choosing to rip my palms up instead All of these are great gloves to buy and use and for the price you can't get better. In my opinion I have tried many versions from many brands and these are hands down the best. PS: Amazon will please be a little gentler with the box
