There is no rubber boot on the end of the camera cable like other power cords I have purchased. When your camera is exposed to the elements, water will seep into the camera. Unfortunately, it took 30 days for enough snow to melt to attempt the connection. I'm stuck with this. Updated 06/20/19. I originally posted the above review as 1 star. The seller contacted me and said I received the wrong item. They quickly sent me a new correct cable which is very weather resistant and works well. The seller then contacted me to make sure I was happy. They also never asked to return the old cable. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars for the seller's efforts. I would buy from them again.
