I replaced them on my 2005 Silverado and will tell you the difference. You are BRIGHT. Not too bright to dazzle anyone but they do light up the marker for good visibility and so far have worked great even when reversing/reversing in my dark driveway. As long as they last, I'm very happy. UPDATE: It's been 9 months and they have already stopped working. I know they were pretty cheap but that's not a good reputation for a product. I think I'll find another style and company to buy my replacements and hope they last longer.
