Review on 🔌 OTOHANS AUTOMOTIVE Complete Electrics Stator Coil CDI Wiring Harness for 4-Stroke ATV QUAD 150cc-300cc: Full Copper Wire & Efficiency by Ben Swett

I bought this kit for a 2005 2005 SSR quad. It was the perfect replacement for the old parts with the advantage that they already fit into the new wiring harness. The stator/pulse coils went in with no problem, the rubber gasket was a bit difficult but it fit. After all the connections, the bike started with no problems. I have another ATV of the same make and model that I will now be ordering another of these electric kits for as I know how well it has worked. , 2005 SSR 200ss. When the second set arrived I thought it would be as easy to install as the previous one. After installing the parts, I began connecting the components to the wire harness. I thought it shouldn't be the same company or kit! The wire colors on the wire harness were different and did not match the wire colors on the connector on the handlebar switch, stator, or starter solenoid. After troubleshooting the connector, I found that the ground wire (black) was the same color as the power wire to the handlebar switch (black), so the same wire colors on the harness also change within the harness. The starter circuit is not working, the power wire to the starter switch (orange) is not receiving power. The black power wire to the switch changes color at the plug (turquoise) to the switch and this applies to the lighting circuit only. I wonder why this set is so different from the previous one?! That second set is rubbish and I'm using all my electrical skills (I'm a master electrician and carburetor mechanic) to figure out what's going on. The last set was so cool but this one is rubbish. My guess is that buying from these guys is a gamble. After further consideration and comparison to another harness from the first kit, I am convinced that they put the wrong harness in this kit. That's quality control for you.
